Stop the Genocide of the Uyghurs in Xinjiang

This is a more important story than the Oprah interview of Meagen and Harry.

A report has been released by the Newlines Institute for Strategy and Policy that asserts that the Chinese Government is engaged in a campaign to commit genocide against the two million Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities within the People's Republic in Xinjiang.

According to the report, first reported by CNN, the Chinese have violated all articles of the United Nations Genocide Convention in their attempts to snuff out the Muslim populace of their country.

Repressive and genocidal methods the Chinese Government have been accused of include:

  • Sterilization.
  • Indoctrination and harassment forcing a change of religious/cultural identity.
  • Forced relocations into concentration camps.
  • Destruction of physical communities and cultural sites.
  • Sexual Abuse.
  • Murder.

These barbaric acts have been going on for seven years.

Even the Trump/Pence Administration, despite denials from Beijing, called the Chinese measures an act of genocide.

It is time for the citizens of the world to rise to history's moment here and act.

Global leaders must use economic and social measures like boycotting Chinese products, economic sanctions, not allowing Chinese leaders to visit other nations, and suspending existing trade and commercial agreements so the plutocratic regime in Bejing will feel the monetary pinch in their pockets and be forced to stop their repressive and murderous treatment of the Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities.

Throughout history, people have not done enough when persecuted groups (like Native Americans, Armenians, Jews, Gypsies, Homosexuals, Cambodians, and Rwandans) were lined up to march to the genocidal slaughterhouse.

There is more to being an American than buying cheap Chinese products at Walmart.

It is time to learn from past generation's mistakes and rise to the occasion.

Make your voices heard in helping to stop the genocide of the Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities in Xinjiang.
