The interesting clip below from the end of "Real Time with Bill Maher" this last Friday illustrates how some idealistic Progressives did not reconcile idealism with pragmatism in the last election by either voting for independent candidates or staying home. Idealistic Progressives behaved like this in 2000 and it helped give us eight years of George W. Bush. Let's hope the error is not repeated this time around and people will learn by 2020.
