Teachers deserve better than a one percent raise for the next two years.

Teachers are entrusted with shaping the minds of our youth and for serving as role models for children to learn from. They often work nights, weekends, and yes the summer time to refine and perfect their craft because helping children is not a job, it is a mission. They deserve better than a one percent raise for the next two years in the recently passed State Budget for Arizona. They also deserve better respect for all they do.
