Violence is not the answer

Most have probably already heard about the attempted assassinations of Senators and Representatives while practicing baseball this morning in Virginia. Thankfully and to the credit of capital and Alexandria law enforcement, no one appears to have been murdered.

While it is totally appropriate to civilly debate our differences on matters that affect the people, it is never permissible to utilize violence to resolve political discourse. It is not the answer in these situations.
