Michael Flynn needs to be in Jail; William Barr needs to Resign

Michael Flynn lied to the F.B.I.
Michael Flynn lied to the Vice President
Michael Flynn pled guilty twice for lying to the F.B.I.
Donald Trumps Justice Department under Jeff Sessions and Rod Rosenstein prosecuted him.
The Judge, Emmett Sullivandid not sentence Flynn in 2018 because he felt the plea deal was too lenient, calling the Three Star General’s acts potential “treason” and demanded greater cooperation with other investigations before rendering final judgment.
Michael Flynn belongs in jail.
William Barr, the 2016 Popular Vote Loser’s personal lawyer masquerading as Attorney General has initiated proceedings to have the case against Flynn dropped, saying, in an interview with C.B.S. he did not commit a crime when he lied to the F.B.I.
The lead prosecutor on the Flynn case, Brandon Van Grack, has withdrawn
This is not the first time Mr. Barr has done Mr. Trump’s bidding in interceding to help supporters who were connected with the Russia Investigation.
Barr and his team crafted a memo, overriding the recommendation of the four-person prosecutorial team handling the Roger Stone case.
Those four prosecutors withdrew from that case rather than accept the Attorney Generals interference.
Stone received a three-year sentence instead of the seven to nine the original team recommended.
Barr still has John Durham, the United States Attorney in Connecticut, investigating the origins of the Russia Investigation despite the Justice Department Inspector General finding there was cause to open it.
Most legal scholars, save for some like Alan Dershowitz (who echoed Barr,) find the Justice Department’s acts disturbing and against the norm.
William Barr, as Jennifer Rubin in the Washington Post, recommended, needs to be investigated by Congress for the actions he has taken.
If impeachment is warranted, it should be considered.
If he had a conscience, he should resign.
Unfortunately, the people will probably have to wait until January 20, 2021, to see Barr and others held to account.
If Joe Biden does win the Presidency in November and Barr is still there to leave with Trump on January 20, 2021, one lesson he should have learned from the Obama Administration was the foolhardiness of not launching investigations into the corporate and political players that brought on the Great Recession.
While understanding President Obama’s desire to come together and move forward, that naive sentiment should not be repeated in a Biden administration.
A special prosecutor team should be assembled to investigate all the alleged crimes Mr. Trump, his family, his Administration, and enablers in Congress participated in.
Democracy and Republics can not function if one political party think they are above the law and do whatever they want.
Hopefully, a President Biden would not let them get away with it.
