Why Can Not the People in the United States get the Same Tests as the President

The American People deserve the same access to Coronavirus as the President and Vice President of the United States.
For that matter, they deserve the same access as the White House staff, some of whom (along with Secret Service) has recently tested positive for the Coronavirus.
That some of them tested positive while working in an environment where wearing masks had been seen (until earlier today) as some form of weakness or maintaining a safe social distance at meetings has not mandated should not be surprising.
What Trump, Pence, and their political team should be ashamed of is encouraging the people in this country to participate in reopening the economy despite the fact that the large majority of the population has not been tested once yet while the 2016 Popular Vote Losers and some of their close associates get examined every day. A large portion of the population, in varying polls, conducted a couple of weeks ago still favored staying at home while more recent surveys found a majority not agreeing with the protestors clamoring to open things up.
Individual One even openly said he wondered if testing was necessary. So much for a vital national testing strategy and commitment to mass producing them at the federal level.
If that is the case, why does he and Pence get tested every day? Why did the Stable Genius get visibly upset when he found out his valet contracted the virus?
It should also be noted that none of the 50 states and United States territories have met all of the four recommended CDC guidelines for reopening their economies.
Yet Individual One tweets outlandish suggestions for the Governor of Pennsylvania to do more to reopen the state. Earlier, last month, he made similar obtuse suggestions, again via tweet, to the Governors of Michigan and Virginia.
The 2016 Presidential Popular Vote Winner Hillary Clinton tweeted:
“If Trump and his team understand how critical testing is to their safety—and they seem to, given their own behavior—why are they insisting that it’s unnecessary for the American people?” Great question…”
It seems Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence are true believers in medical science only when the public health emergency is at their front door.
Outside the White House grounds, considerations for science and safety are dwarfed by the self-centered push to reopen the economy no matter how many people go untested and how many perish in nursing homes or hospitals.
The people deserve to get tested like the President and Vice President of the United States are every day.
The people deserve to know it is safe for them to go out before being pushed to do so by self-serving political opportunists in the White House.
The people deserve a President and Vice President who will work every day to fight this virus, keep all Americans safe, and ensure that everyone gets testing and treatment to beat the health emergency.
