Is Donald Trump a Killer? You Judge

Colleague Larry Bodine published this video from MediaTouch called "Trump Kills US" on the Blog for Arizona social media. Please watch below:

Fellow Blogger AZ Blue Meanie shared this commentary from Charles Blow of the New York Times titled "Can we call Trump a Killer?"

Is Donald Trump a killer?

He has never led a national effort in attacking this pandemic. With the virus surging in half the country, that lack of coordination (especially with a potential shortage of vital medical equipment) could risk lives.
He encouraged the economic reopening of the country when virtually no state in the country met the reopening guidelines his own CDC recommended.
Despite guidance from his own health specialists, he presided over rallies in Oklahoma and Arizona with no social distancing and most of the people not wearing masks. Two secret service agents have already tested positive after attending the Oklahoma event. What will happen to the approximately 10,000 people that attended the Tulsa and Phoenix events? They do not have access to the same testing opportunities as the Secret Service.
He has continually downplayed the seriousness of this virus since it came to the United States, creating a false sense of security for his Trump Zone residents who think his word comes from the Burning Bush.
He consistently denies science and his own experts, suggesting (and taking) drugs that have not proven to be a reliable treatment for COVID 19. He has also suggested bizarre remedies such as injecting bleach and exposing open body areas to sunlight. These remarks cause people to actually try these "treatments" risking their health and lives.
He downplays the importance of testing and the medical benefits increasing that would bring to the people.
He does not model sound preventive measures like wearing masks. This tells his cult followers that masks are not necessary.
He encourages fringe nut jobs to violently take out their frustrations on Asian Americans when he calls the Coronavirus "Kung Flu.

Readers should also not forget the surge in hate crimes against Muslims, Jews, Hispanics, and African Americans since Mr. Trump took office.

He seems to care more about the restoration of the statues of Confederate Civil War traitors then protecting the people he is charged with leading in 2020.

Is Donald Trump a killer?

You Judge.

On Election Day on November 3, 2020, and in court on January 21, 2021.
