William Howard Taft, Herbert Hoover, Richard Nixon, Hubert Humphrey, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush, Al Gore, John Kerry, and Hillary Clinton.
What else do they have in common other than running for United States President and losing at least one time?
Well none of them attempted a political insurrection to overturn the election results.
They also attended the Presidential Inaugurations of the person that defeated them?
Does anyone think any of these individuals enjoyed that experience?
Especially Al Gore and Hillary Clinton who won the popular vote over their opponents.
Yet they put the country and national unity over personal ambition and hubris.
They were brave adults that did their part in forging a united front for the American People.
That will never be said about Donald Trump who, days after provoking an insurrection of Trump Zone Domestic Terrorists, cowardly tweeted (what else) that he would not attend Joe Biden and Kamala Harris's inaugurations.
Maybe he is afraid of getting taken into custody after the ceremony for fomenting insurrection on January 6, 2021.
He is definitely a coward.
On virtually all levels, Good riddance. Trump does not deserve to be at the inauguration after what he has done to divide and destroy this country.
Let the people remember that when the history of this period is written, Hillary Clinton had greater class and was more adult, brave, and committed to National Unity than cowardly weasel and insurrectionist twice Popular Vote Loser and KKK Endorsed Candidate Donald Trump.
