If President Trump or any of his people were motivated to fire former F.B.I. James Comey because they felt it would impede or stop the investigation of collusion between the Russians and the Trump Campaign, then that could pave the road for impeachment on the grounds of obstruction of justice. Furthermore, White House Offical explanations for Comey's dismissal are going all over the place with the Deputy Press Secretary calling what Comey did an "atrocity." Paraphrasing Inigo Montoya from the movie, The Princess Bride "I don't think it means what you think it means."
