With the President's temper tweets the last couple of days, you would think that the key to solving the terrorist problem is to not let people (namely Moslems) in from certain North African and Middle Eastern Countries. While some people flying in from these areas should warrant increased scrutiny, (the Manchester Bomber was a British resident who had been on their security radar and had just come home from Libya where his radicalization had apparently been finalized), the great majority of the people coming from these countries bear no one any ill will making a ban counterproductive. Aside from developing more detailed screening processes for arrivals from other countries, the United States government needs to increase its capabilities on home grown terrorists and not just the ones who have been radicalized by I.S.I.L, Al Queda, or other extreme sects. We also have to watch out for the other form of domestic terrorism: right wing extremism where there have been more attacks as a result of that than by any domestic Islamic source. These people have to be stopped as well and should be given the same priority as potential Islamic threats.
