Who Should Progressives and Democrats reach out to? In a word, EVERYONE.

There has been a recent trend among Democrats and Progressives (as previous postings have indicated) on what message they should deliver and what groups they should appeal to. The answer is simple. They should have a message that is geared towards everyone. All Americans want good paying and stimulating jobs. All Americans want their children to have good schools. All Americans want quality and affordable Health Care. All Americans want equal treatment before the law. All Americans want a secure and comfortable retirement. All Americans want to breath clean air, drink clean water, walk safe streets, and live in unpolluted areas. All Americans want our country to be respected in the world and move forward. Focus on these seven areas, explain how Progressives and Democrats have fought for those over the last 100 years, and offer plans to build on those points in a convincing fashion with good get out the vote strategies and we should be fine. It should be "we are all in this together" and not pick a group here and there. This is the way forward.
