New York Time Interview: what they did not ask

While yesterdays New York Times interview of the President reinforced impressions of the new administration, there was really no new news here. What is striking is that it seems the three interviewers (all skilled political reporters) did not pin the President down on his own ideas of Health Care and did he understand what would happen to people if any version of House or Senate bill passed. That was a missed opportunity. They could also have asked him why he has not reached out to Democrats in areas such as Health Care and Infrastructure. I may be incorrect but the interview feedback that has been read or seen on the cable shows did not seem to touch on those areas. They should have.
