This week's books of the week are three samples of works that exposed social and economic issues that plagued our society and resulted in triggering reforms that made our people and country better. The current administration is currently trying to undermine some of these reforms/regulations. We need more muckraking efforts to keep the people informed and let the administration and government know that we are paying attention.
Upton Sinclair The Jungle
Rachel Carson Silent Spring
Ralph Nader Unsafe at Any Speed
More examples will follow next week.
