Sherman Adams, H.R. Halderman, Alexander Haig, Dick Cheney, James Baker, Howard Baker, Leon Panetta, Erskine Bowles, John Podesta, Andrew Card, Rahm Emanuel, and Denis McDonough; what do these people have in common? They had reputations as strong, competent Chiefs of Staffs who could effectively run White House Operations. For our countries sake, let us hope General John Kelly, formerly our Homeland Security Secretary, can approach the reputation of his predecessors listed above and hope to steer the country forward.
