This weeks book of the week is an historical account of what bipartisan cooperation should look like. It is Harry and Arthur: Truman, Vandenberg, and the Partnership That Created the Free World by Lawrence J. Haas
It is a book that tells of the beginning of the Cold War and the political alliance forged by Democratic President Harry Truman and Republican Senator Arthur Vandenberg in helping create the policies that would contain Soviet ambitions in Europe.
