Remember the Priorities USA Action Ad that came out last month that sharply criticized Mr. Trump’s early handling of the Coronavirus by using his own words against him. See below if you have not.
Well, another Anti-Trump group called The Lincoln Project came out with one of their own.

This powerful ad points out that instead of spending precious time consulting with experts on how to tackle the Coronavirus, the 2016 Popular Vote Loser, who blamed the impeachment process for distracting him, spent that time:
- Golfing
- Speaking at Rallies
- Tweeting
The ad concludes by saying Trump did not take the Coronavirus seriously and still does not care despite the fact that over 10,000 (now over 20,000) people have died.
What makes this ad more potent is because the Lincoln Project is not some Superpac for Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, or any Democratic/Progressive leaning organization.
The Lincoln Project is a group, led by lifelong Republicans George Conway (Kelly’s husband,) Steve Schmidt, John Weaver, and Rick Wilson. These Republicans who wholeheartedly supported the impeachment and removal of Trump are dedicated to rescuing the Party of Lincoln from the clutches of the cultists that reside in the Trump Zone and Fox Island.
These Republican exiles are so committed to defeating Donald Trump in 2020 and rescuing their former party, they are willing to actively support Joe Biden to do it.
Hopefully, this message (and others) from the Lincoln Project, Priorities U.S.A., and other like-minded groups, will resonate with enough Independent and even lean Republican voters in the swing states of Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin that the result will propel Mr. Biden to a sizable victory in November that has large enough coattails to bring in Senate and House candidates (like Senate Candidate Mark Kelly and the Democrats running against Debbie Lesko, Andy Biggs, Paul Gosar, and David Schweikert) that are committed to moving the country forward from this dark chapter in United States History.
If this occurs, Mr. Biden has the opportunity, as New York Columnist Thomas Friedman pointed out in his April 7, 2020 column, to create a “National Unity Cabinet” and Administration team comprised of devoted public servants and technocratic all-stars from both the Democratic and Republican Parties.
Such a team, if organized properly and coordinated with a friendly Congress free of fringe obstruction (reconciliation is a wonderful legislative tool to use,) could potentially move this country forward in ways many in this era of polarization thought impossible.
But to get there, people need to get the word out and spread the message that organizations like the Lincoln Project and Priorities U.S.A. Action is trying to promote and reinforce.
It is also important to turn out and vote.
