The People will Remember the Actions of the President of Betrayal

Entrepreneur and MSNBC Commentator Donny Deutsch’s branding of Donald Trump as the President of Betrayal last November is increasingly on point this week.
Reporting by the New York Times has revealed that Trade Representative Peter Navarro (the social scientist who clashed with Dr. Anthony Fauci over the feasibility of using hydroxychloroquine to treat Coronavirus) told his intellectual soulmate, the Stable Genius in the Oval Office, that there was a high risk of a pandemic coming from China that could cost hundreds of thousands of lives back in January.
This coincides with reports that Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and American Intelligence went to Individual One during this same time period and advised him of the seriousness of the virus.
AWhat did the Third President in United States History to be impeached do when told by three sources that a public health emergency was about to hit our country.
He deflected the seriousness of the disease, saying it was like the flu.
He minimized the danger, saying the number would go from 15 to 0 in total virus cases.
He lied about what would happen and called it the latest media and Democratic hoax.
He did virtually nothing to prepare the country for what was coming and told everyone he took no responsibility for any mistakes that have taken place.
He betrayed the American People, the individuals he swore to protect.
The Priorities USA Action social media ad shown below, first discussed on this blog by Arizona’s Politics, captures this very well.
The aspiring American Duce’s circumventing of the Inspector General accountability of the Executive Branch is another betrayal of the American People and the 233 year Democratic Republic.
First, he fired Michael Atkinson, the person who reported the complaint on the Ukrainian call to Congress that led to Mr. Trump’s impeachment.
Now, he has reassigned the person meant to oversee the two trillion dollar stimulus package, Glenn Fine, and replaced him with Sean W. O’Donnell, the Inspector General from the Environmental Protection Agency in an apparent bid to install a potential lackey to oversee the program.
There is also a worry that he will endeavor to railroad the Inspector General for the Department of Health and Human Services for the less than flattering report on hospital preparedness and supply inventories (or lack thereof) because of the Administration’s actions that were released on April 6, 2020.
On Deadline White House this afternoon (April 7, 2020,) former F.B.I. Assistant Director for Counterintelligence and current MSNBC commentator Frank Figliuzzi stated that the American People would remember in November this betrayal by a President and his followers in the Trump Zone and Fox Island who regards “truth as an adversary”  and democracy as something to be suppressed in advancing his/their agenda (which Figliuzzi speculates will include Presidential pardons under the radar).
Figliuzzi said the people like:
  • The sailors on the Theodore Roosevelt will remember how their Captain (Brett Crozier) was removed after fighting for them because Trump’s now-former Acting Navy Secretary (Thomas Modley) wanted to please his leader.
  • The health care workers will remember that they did not have the vital supplies they needed to treat Coronvirus patients because Trump did not treat the pandemic seriously for the first two months.
  • The voters in Wisconsin will remember that they had to “endanger their lives and vote in a primary” just so a Trump and Republican endorsed State Supreme Court pick could have a better chance of winning.
Former Missouri Democratic Senator and current MSNBC commentator Claire McCaskill said later on the same show, with former Republican National Committee Chairperson Michael Steele concurring,  that voters in Wisconsin and across the country will “crawl through glass” to vote out the Liar in Chief and his supporters in the November elections for what they have done to the country in betraying their oaths to the people they are supposed to serve.

McCaskill, Figliuzzi, and Steele are right. The people will remember in 210 days who the individuals were who betrayed them and put their lives at risk for political expediency and ideological purity and show them the door to permanent public service retirement.
