Moscow Mitch is laying the Groundwork to Screw the People Again: Stop Him

Democrats, Independents, sane Republicans better start pushing for legislation to aid the states and rebuild the American Economy and infrastructure NOW because Political Prince of Darkness-Enemy of the People-Obstructionist in Chief-Legislative Grim Reaper-Moscow Mitch McConnell and his anti Government allies are already laying the sound-bite groundwork for putting the brakes on government.

In a phone interview with Politico, the person most responsible (even more so than Trump) for most that is wrong with the United States, said that (after supporting deficit-busting tax cuts) that is concerned with all the stimulus spending to combat the Coronavirus that has increased the debt.

Furthermore, he said that all the Senators need to be in Washington before any new legislation is considered.

Finally, he maintained that it is better to restart the economy as soon and “safely” as possible without borrowing more money.

What made the article more nauseating was the reporting that Senator Rand Paul(remember he contracted the Coronavirus) complaining about the increasing debt.

What hypocrisy on Senator Paul’s part although to his credit, he did make a motion to vote remotely.

Moscow Mitch obstructed it. What a bastard.

McConnell’s comments should serve as a warning to those who should remember the history of what Republicans pulled during the Great Recession, criticizing the spending programs of Barack Obama to dig the country out of the hole created by the banking and housing deregulation policies they themselves championed.

Republicans like Mitch McConnell did this, knowing it would damage the country.

Paul Waldman published a column in the Washington Post called “The coming GOP plot to sabotage a Biden presidency,” where he rightfully predicts (as McConnell’s interview demonstrates) that the Republicans will go back to their “deficits are bad” routine.

These reactionary, science-denying, know-nothing, Trump Island-Fox Island residents, are already, as reported in another Washington Post piece written by Isaac Stanley-Beckerand Tony Romm getting propped up by fringe interests (like the Mercer and DeVosfamilies) bankrolling the Anti-Social Distancing protestors making the rounds in state capitols across the country. They are creating a second incarnation of the Tea Party Movement.

The American People can not afford to let this happen again.

People that want to move the country forward from the Coronavirus and the obstructionist policies of Mitch McConnell, his allies, and his patrons, need to plan now to stop him.

Democrats in the House need to immediately craft the fifth Coronavirus Stimulus Bill that provides aid to state and local governments as well as infrastructure projects that will create jobs and pull the nation into the Twenty-First Century. Supposedly Donald Trump supports this. Supposedly.

Democrats then need to put pressure on Republicans, especially those in vulnerable Senate races, to support this legislation. There are already Republican Governors and some in Congress that support aid to the states and infrastructure projects.

Democrats, Like-Minded Independents, and Like-Minded Republicans also need to work to elect people to federal, state, and local offices that will work to put people first, keep communities safe, and enact policies that will move the country forward.

This is especially true for the United States Senate where seats in Arizona (Mark Kelly challenging Martha McSally,) Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky (McConnell’s,) Maine,  Michigan, Montana, North Carolina, and South Carolina are in play.

Please remember to register/sign up for the Permanent Early Voting List (PEVL) in Arizona or any state that allows early or absentee balloting and mail in your vote by November 3, 2020.

Also, remember to check in with the Secretary of State’s office where you live to verify your mail-in ballot was received, processed, verified, and counted.

Please also remember to get any voter id a state or county office may need to process your ballot.

Remember Election Day is on November 3. 2020.

Do not let Mitch McConnell get the chance to screw the American People AGAIN.
