This last Tuesday, there was a debate between the two major candidates who are vying for the Georgia Congressional Seat vacated by Tom Price when he became the Secretary of Health and Human Services. During the course of the discussion, Republican Karen Handel may have given her opponent Democrat Jon Ossoff and other Democrats across the country a gift by saying she does not support a livable wage for people. It is positions like this and on other issues that Democrats and Progressives should firmly pounce on and link to every candidate that does not support pro-growth policies that provide steady income so people can sustain a middle-class living and provide opportunities for quality health care and education to their families. The Ossoff Campaign has already taken this comment and made ads trying to capitalize on Handel's remarks. Democrats across the country should do the same to any candidate that holds the same views.
