More examples of the Trump fondness for Autocracy and Cult of Personality

Here are more examples of the President's apparent fondness for autocratic tendencies and an administration preoccupation with a Cult of His Personality.

1) Apparently praising Poland's press restrictions during a press conference yesterday. Video link of the conference is below.

2) Saying NBC should be nice to him because his Apprentice programs made millions for the network. Fairness be damned.

3) White House aides saying CNN merger talks may be jeopardized if CNN continues to be unfair in its coverage of the President. This, if true, could actually be a felony.

4) The head of the White House Ethics Office, Walter Shaub, resigned six months early and he is giving exit interviews to the press, stating that it seems the President and his family are using the Presidency to enrich themselves. DUH.

5) For July 4, Trump allies created a "Make America Great" melody.

6) In a brief interaction with Putin and the press before their meeting today, The President said it was an "honor" to meet the Russian dictator whose enemies have met varying lethal outcomes and who has invaded parts of the Ukraine and Georgia. He may also have contributed to the Presidents electoral college win by sponsoring the Wikileaks on the DNC and Clinton Campaigns. You can say that the President chose his words poorly.

But let's rest easy on one glimmer of hope. The Administration may not be competent to start a full autocracy as evidenced by its inability to book a hotel for the President in advance of the G20 summit.

We deserve better than this.
