Right now, there are solutions to tax reform, health care, education standards, the environment, and infrastructure that members of both parties embrace. There is actually a caucus in Congress called the Problem Solvers Caucus. This is what we need to solve our nations problems. Problem Solvers that can cross party lines and enact legislation that moves our country forward. We are about six weeks away from a potential government shutdown. Republicans can not pass one on their own. They need to work with Democrats and this is the time when positive measures like the renewal of C.H.I.P. and the stabilization of the health care markets can be made part of the funding bill. This is what compromise and bipartisanship problem solving is supposed to be about.
