American Bridge releases Four New Ads showing Eroding Support for Trump and his Policies

The American Bridge PAC has released four new ads that show Trump voters switching to Joe Biden and disillusionment with the President of Betrayal's COVID 19 and school reopening policies.

The first ad, called "Betrayed" shows one of the stars of the first night of the Democratic National Convention, Kristin Urquiza, recounts what happened to her father, Mark, who died after he followed Donald Trump's advice to go out and not social distance during the still going on pandemic.

In the ad, Ms. Urquiza called Trump's handling of COVID 19 "a death sentence to her father...we're told to follow our leaders in times of crisis. That's what my father did and it cost him his life."

The second and third ads show the same group of former Trump supporters describing why they are now endorsing Joe Biden.

The first of these called "Okay to Change" shows these voters tell the viewers that they do not "believe they are better off than they were four years ago."

These voters further said that Trump:

  • "did not put the country first."
  • "turned the swamp into quicksand."
  • "was the biggest voting mistake I ever made."

The ad then pivots to them saying "It's okay (for people) to change their mind" and support Joe Biden because "he understands how the government works and I trust him."

The second ad, called "Irresponsible" has Republican and veteran Steve calling Trump "irresponsible" for his handling of the Coronavirus.

Other voters complain that Trump:

  • "lies."
  • "does not listen to the experts."
  • "scares me."
  • gives people doubts with one grandmother recounting her grandson saying "are we going to be alright today."

The ad then has the voters touting Biden for his "preparedness, empathy, and goodness."

The spot, like the last one, ends with voter Steve saying "I'm a lifelong Republican but I'm definitely voting for Biden."

The final ad, called "Reopening Schools" condemns Trump's monstrous policies to put children back in school in the middle of a pandemic while his own son's school is only offering virtual instruction.

The ad starts with "When it comes to safe schools, Trump has no plan" and concludes with "Not safe. Not smart. Our kids deserve better."

They sure do.
