The Biden/Harris Ticket goes on Offense with Three New Ads

Over the last 24 hours, the Biden/Harris ticket has demonstrated they are not going to take this election for granted.

The 2020 Democratic Presidential and Vice Presidential Nominees appeared in a joint interview on ABC News.

The campaign, on the first day of the Republican National Convention, also released the names of over 20 former Republican public servants, including Arizona's Jeff Flake that have endorsed Mr. Biden. There will be no equal number of Democratic defections to Mr. Trump.

The Biden/Harris campaign has also released three new ads taking the offense to Donald Trump and offering the country a reason for electing them.

The first ad, tailored to the Ohio and North Carolina markets called "Trump's Boycott-Goodyear" criticizes Mr. Trump's call to boycott Goodyear products because of his annoyance that some at that corporation has called for prohibiting the wearing of MAGA hats.

The ads specifically point out that Goodyear has a 122-year history in Akron, Ohio, and Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Trump's comments have hurt its financial and international standing in the industry.

That sound people hear are Ohio and North Carolina residents clicking on their computers requesting early ballots to vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

The second ad called the "Democratic National Convention Recap" wove some of the speaking highlights of last week's convention with excerpts from Vice President and Mrs. Biden, Senator Harris, President and Mrs. Obama, Senator Warren, Klobauchur, and Sanders, and Mayor Buttigieg.

The ad drew statements from the speakers calling for action from the people to unite and fight to win this November.

The final ad called "Heal America," reminds the viewers that the country faces four crises:

  • COVID 19.
  • Economic Recession.
  • Climate.
  • Racial Injustice

The narrator then pivots, with video clips of Biden and Harris in the background, stating:

"We need a team that's up to the task. Leaders who can rally the nation to fight this virus. To not only rebuild our economy but build it back better to address the threat of climate change and to root out systemic racism. Together, they'll lead America, unite America, and heal America. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, because a united America will be a better America."

The odds are, with speakers like the Missouri couple who tried to intimidate peaceful protestors with their weapons, no political platform (contrary to the pundits, the Democrats have an extensive one,) and a lying cult leader at the helm, the Republican National Convention will not have the healing and moving forward message that the Biden/Harris Ticket presents and represents.
