In their newest ad, "Complacent," the Lincoln Project warns the people not to take Donald Trump and his enablers in the Senate defeat for granted.
The ad starts out by describing all the ways the Trump Campaign is doing poorly including:
- Being behind in the polls.
- Currently losing or close to defeat in states that "he should win."
The narrator then throws cold water on the viewer, saying "this isn't over" and reminds people that Trump will "lie, cheat, suppress the vote, stoke racial hatred and economic chaos to win."
The ad continues, warning people not to become complacent (like in 2016) or Trump and his enablers will take advantage of the political situation.
The narrator then rightfully contends, with pictures of Moscow Mitch McConnell, Blow with the wind Lindsey Graham, and The President will learn from this Susan Collins in the background:
"it's not over until his enablers are defeated. We can't take anything for granted. Register, volunteer, get your absentee ballot. Vote early. Stay in this fight. Your vote and your hard work make all the difference because you know the choice we face: America or Trump."
