We should not cut programs that help our most vulnerable.

Another week and more articles on programs that help the most vulnerable that may potentially be on the chopping block. Programs like food stamps, coaching parents, and assisting the disabled are among those slated for a reduction if not elimination in some areas. The number of people that are going hungry is on the rise. This is the United States. Our people should not have to worry about such budget reductions. No child should go hungry. No disabled person should go uncared for. No aspiring parent should not be able to learn how to be good to their children. It is better to raise taxes on the ultra-rich than it is to make these cuts.
