The President stepped into it again, this time on his visit to Puerto Rico today. It started with his commenting that the disaster in Puerto Rico was not as catastrophic as Hurricane Katrina because Puerto Rico had fewer deaths. He also complained, sarcastically, that the money needed to rebuild Puerto Rico would hurt the federal budget. He also praised the Puerto Rican Governor for saying nice things about him and mocked the San Juan neighbor for not doing so. Finally, he handed out relief supplies like he was Santa Claus passing out gifts. Why do we have an electoral college?
