Calling her "A Giant in the Legal Profession" and a "Beloved Figure" who "Stood for all of us," Joe Biden paid his respects to the life and legacy of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg shortly after she passed away last night.
Saying "In the coming days, we should focus on the loss of her justice and her enduring legacy, " Biden concluded by throwing the McConnell rule from 2016 back at Republicans, stating:
"Let me clear that the voters should pick the President and the President should pick the Justice for the Senate to consider. This was the position of the Republican Senate took in 2016 when there were almost ten months to go before the election. That's the position the United States Senate must take today and the election is only 46 days off...We should do this with full consideration and that is my hope and expectation what will happen."
As mentioned in an article written last night, if the 2016 Popular Vote Loser names a nominee in the coming days or weeks, the probable 2020 Popular Vote Winner should show the American People what African American Woman Jurist he would select.
If the Republicans under Enemy of the People-Political Prince of Darkness Mitch McConnell attempts to and succeeds to ram through a Trump Nominee either before the election or in a Lame Duck Senate Session after a Biden victory and/or Democrats have retaken the Senate for the next session, the 2020 Presidential Nominee should take steps to add two seats to the Supreme Court to make up for the ones stolen by Republicans and the 2016 Popular Vote Loser.
The American People, by giving Hillary Clinton close to three million more votes in 2016, signaled they did not want Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.
They need to work harder, raise the decibel level higher, and turn out more on election day to ensure Republicans do not get a chance to steal another Supreme Court Seat.
Save the Courts.
Save the Country.
Election Day is in 45 Days.
